Oilmen Against Muscular Dystrophy

Annual Sporting Clay Tournament
Benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association

Who are we?

The Oilmen Against Muscular Dystrophy was formed in 2010 as the vision of Kelly Goodwin and his family to put together an event to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  As parents of a child with muscular dystrophy, the Goodwins know first-hand how challenging muscle disease can be.  They decided the best way to raise money and awareness for the cause was to put on an event that they knew would be fun for all.  As Kelly Goodwin is himself an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys shooting sporting clays competitively, these tournaments seemed to be a sure-fire way to serve these purposes.  With the help of friends at MDA, in the oilfield industry and others the idea was born.  We have had four successful tournaments raising over $140,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

If you would like to participate in the event please visit the page above entitled "Registration."  If you would like to help sponsor the event, please visit the "Sponsorship" page above.  Thank you for visiting our site.
